Lights for your garage, workshop and stables
Garage lights have to be bright, practical and suitable for sometimes damp, hostile environments, and they are suitable for your workshop and stables too. Bright, economical, non-corrosive and efficient batten lights are ideal for the job. At Universal Lighting, we stock fittings ranging from 2ft long, for small hard to fit spaces, up to twin 6ft long battens which provide adequate lighting for larger garages or workshops.
Available in bright LED and in all colour temperatures, it’s simple to transform any garage, workshop, kennels or other multi-use outbuildings into a safe, well lit haven. By selecting robust weatherproof IP65 rated non-corrosive fittings, you can feel confident that our lighting range, which is specifically designed for the garage or workshop, will fulfil your criteria.
How many lumens do I need?
- Aim for 540 lumens per m2 for general garage lighting
- Aim for 3000 lumens per m2 above workbenches and in workshops
- Aim for 1800 lumens per m2 in utility rooms
