Ceiling Lamp Shades

Our ceiling lamp shades and pendant light shades are simple to fit. The perfect quick and easy solution to transforming a room. No electrical work is required, just unscrew the lamp holder and attach the shade. We offer a wide range of shades including Tiffany, acrylic, modern and traditional designs.

Pendant Light Shades

Shades come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and are classed as non-electrical because they require no wiring in and simply sit on the light bulb holder. The perfect way to achieve a room makeover without having to spend a fortune and brighten up the decor.

A pendant lamp shade is usually made from fabric, or strung and sometimes hard-backed or lined, often in a different contrasting colour. Good examples would be hard-backed fabric, cylinder, cone or drum pendant shades.

A non-electric shade usually has a metal frame that is decorated with glass, acrylic, crystal or even in a Tiffany style. Both types of shade have the added benefit of being very easy and quick to install without the need for an electrician.

Ceiling lamp shades and non-electric shades are limited to containing a single lamp, so are not ideal for large rooms but are perfect for hallways, landings, bedrooms, smaller living rooms and dining rooms.

Please note that most of our pendant shades are for use with an E27 (Edison screw) lamp holder. If you have a B22 (Bayonet cap) lamp holder you will need a converter, which is usually supplied. A converter is a simple metal ring that reduces the size of the hole for use with BC lamp holders.
