Wall washer lights allow you to create exactly the right feel for a room or to accentuate a wall feature or alcove. A wall washer has a number of advantages when compared to the more traditional style of wall light. The main advantage is that they sit flush to the wall making them ideal for the smaller room or for narrow places such as hallways, as they project far less into the space.

Careful use of wall washer lighting can add an extra dimension to any room or space. They can add valuable mood lighting by reflecting different colours into the room. For example, a pair of wall washers placed on an orange, red or salmon pink coloured wall will highlight the colours and wash the light up the wall and bounce it off the ceiling creating a sensual lighting effect.

Similarly, a cooler colour such as blue or yellow will create a cooler brighter lighting effect when a wall washer is used.

An unglazed plaster or ceramic wall washer can blend in well with the surrounding décor, whilst a contemporary chrome and glass wall washer light will add extra sparkle to the more modern setting.

Wall washer lighting is available in many finishes and can be switched or un-switched. Whatever style you choose, you can be sure that a wall washer will add style and functionality to any room.
