You need to maintain at least 2.1 m clearance from floor to the bottom of any ceiling light where people will pass underneath. Low profile flush and semi-flush fixtures are great for low ceilings whilst hanging designs need more height.
Always match the fitting diameter to the room size to maintain proportion and ensure heavy fixtures are fixed securely to a joist or other structural support. Almost all of our fittings work with dimmers and LED bulbs.
