A wall mounted bathroom spot light can be very useful as they are adjustable and directional so can be pointed exactly where you need them, either giving you useful light to see by or just adding soft lighting to a wall to give an ambience to the room. Alternatively we have a huge selection of fixed lighting for your bathroom walls from traditional to modern, simple to elaborate or anything in between.

There are a few things that you need to consider when fitting spot lamps in a bathroom. Please remember that the halogen lamp can get very hot in use, so it is very important that they are fitted where they cannot be touched by anyone. This is particularly important where young children are concerned. The consequences of someone touching a very hot lamp with wet hands could be quite severe. Always install them in such a position where they cannot be easily reached and away from any risk of them being splashed with water and try and choose wall lights with a pull cord switch.

In an ideal word we would have a bare bathroom to work with, but this is rarely the case. If your bathroom is part tiled then recessing the wall lamps wiring will not be a problem, but what can you do if the bathroom walls are fully tiled? Consider mounting a mirror at face level of a size that will extend to within 150mm or so from the ceiling. The wiring can then be taken down from the roof space and surface mounted. This method is particularly effective when using an over mirror light and enables the wiring to be hidden behind the mirror if you wanted to fit wall lighting either side. Alternatively, if wall lights are out due to tiled bathroom walls, we have other bathroom lighting options to light up bath times such as illuminated mirrors.
