When choosing your wall lights, look at the style of it and where the lamp bulb is positioned to create the light. Many modern wall lights are directional, with the light either shining upwards, downwards or both. This can create a wonderful wash of light over the wall surface. If you choose a GU10 lamp fitting, then coloured LED lamps may be used. These are both energy efficient and attractive as you can choose any colour light that you like and change it whenever you wish.
If you choose a modern outdoor light for ambient lighting, then you must consider a wall light with an eyelid fitted. These will direct the light downwards and directly to the front giving a lovely ambient glow to the surrounding area.
Finally, with all of the styles available today, the different types of finishes and the light created by each style, the only thing holding you back is your own imagination.
