Bathroom Ceiling Lights
Bathroom Ceiling Lighting
A good choice of light fittings can make all of the difference between the bathroom just being somewhere to wash and bathe and somewhere to relax and unwind.
Years ago, a bathroom would consist of an iron or steel bath, a porcelain sink and a toilet, and the walls would be painted in an eggshell finish to try and protect the walls from steam. Bathroom lighting would probably be a batten lamp holder on the ceiling or wall with a 100 watt light bulb poking out.
Thankfully, those days are long gone and our bathrooms are now a relaxing and functional place to be. Bathroom ceiling lighting plays a very important part in your overall bathroom lighting scheme and should be chosen with care.
All of our bathroom ceiling lights are rated at least IP44 or higher, so they are suitable for use in bathroom zones 1, 2 and 3. Full information about bathroom lighting regulations can be found by following the link to our Bathroom Light Zones guide.
